Yazoo County Middle School serves approximately 400 students in grades 6-8 and is part of the Yazoo County School District.

Mission: Yazoo County Middle School is a child-centered school where success for all students is the goal. Students, parents, community, faculty, and staff, work together to provide a safe, secure, and loving environment. This environment affords students the opportunities to experience success, think critically, communicate effectively, solve problems, become lifelong learners, reach their optimum potential, and strive to be productive citizens.

Vision: To ensure that all students can read with understanding, communicate effectively through written and spoken language, and apply mathematical concepts appropriately so that they become successful, productive, and responsible citizens.
