I am so happy to be a part of Yazoo County Middle School and the Yazoo County School District.

I earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Mississippi State University and a Masters of Education in Educational Leadership from Mississippi College. I am a life-long learner and am grateful for every opportunity to learn something new and expand my knowledge.

My teaching career began at the Madison County Business & Commerce Center in 1998 where I was the DECA advisor and instructor for the Marketing & Fashion Merchandising program. From 2000-2004, I served as the Technology Coordinator for St. Joseph Catholic School. In 2005, I took a teaching and coaching position at Ridgeland High School. After eight years in education, I decided to pursue an advanced degree in Educational Leadership. Over the years, I have taught various courses in social studies, mathematics, and across the broad spectrum of business and computer technology. Additionally, I have coached cheerleading, tennis, golf, and swimming while also serving as a Technology Student Association advisor and Student Government Association sponsor. My administrative experience includes roles as both an assistant principal and an assistant athletic director.

I grew up in North Mississippi in the small town of Plantersville. I attended Tupelo High School before going to MSU. Upon graduation, I moved to Madison County, which has been home for all of my adult life. I have two sons, Tre and Tyler. Our whole family loves the Mississippi State Bulldogs.

I am looking forward to a great year with the students and families of Yazoo County Middle School. Go Panthers!
